P.R.I.E.S.T. International Ministries is a 501 (c) 3 organization. It was founded in the '80s by the late Elder Gloria B. Collins as a wrap around full service organization that provided services to persons who were in need. The ministry began with a luncheon of young ladies coming together to hear the founder's plan and vision.
P.R.I.E.S.T. is an acronym that stands for People Responsible for Intervention, Education, Service and Training. These are the areas of service provided through the organization.
After a few years, the demands on the founder's life changed with the call to the ministry and a higher level of ministerial administration. P.R.I.E.S.T. then became inactive. The founder passed in late 2001 and the ministry was reestablished in 2005 to continue the legacy and expand the vision.
In 2008 the ministry was incorporated and established as P.R.I.E.S.T. Ministries. It was later reorganized in 2012 and became P.R.I.E.S.T. International Ministries because of its international connections.
The ministry is based on the belief that people's needs are of the utmost importance. Every facet of the ministry is designed to teach truth in a manner that is easy to understand and implement in ones life. It is through the simplicity of the teachings that lives are changed.
The workshops, seminars and activities are provided to youth and adults and cover an array of topics that prepare participants for the future and enhance their lives.
